The striped bass were not biting very well at all this afternoon, and mostly small fish. But I mainly used the orange tubes and 1/4 ounce (.28 ounce) lead heads I bought from Caribou. The largest fish of the trip, out of 17 fish, was a 5 1/2 pounder caught on your orange tube. It even outfished our lighter toned orange tube that we have use for years and the red tube that is our mainstay. The water was a bit turbid, cloudy, which orange seems to work better in. Your barrel shaped tube heads hooked and held fish very well.
